"Mixing philosophy with hand-balancing, juggling with self-reflection and acrobatics with musings on personal growth, this is a multilayered piece full of physical prowess and wit. Like life itself, it’s a great balancing act."

- Lynn Gardner THE STAGE

"At the Start of this utterly charming show, from Chicago’s Full Out Formula circus collective, we’re strangers sharing a space. By the end, not only do we feel like a communicty - but as if we’re actually part of the troupe."

-THE SCOTSMAN

"This’ll be one of the 2026 Fringe shows that everyone asks, “Did you see these guys?”"

-Doug Phillips GLAM ADELAIDE

"Of all the show’s I saw in Edinburgh over three full days, this is the one that keeps coming back to my mind."

- Anne Heinonen THE CIRCUS DIARIES

I THINK IT COULD WORK

From the mischievous minds of Full Out Formula comes their seminal creation, “I Think It Could Work” - a daring and playful leap into the unexpected. With bright colors, dazzling acrobatics, and unflinching trust, this Chicago-based contemporary circus collective invites you into a speculative world where your choices decide their destiny. It’s circus like you’ve never seen before—live, improvised, and unforgettable.

FULL OUT FORMULA is a circus collective that makes people believe in the possibilities of their own world. It's a sneaky but feral rebellion based in Chicago, IL, founded in 2023 by company members Sierra Rhoades Nicholls, Kevin Flanagan and Liam Bradley. Full Out Formula creates multidisciplinary circus which celebrates how our bodies are portals to endless discovery. The company is devoted to sharing their passion for mischievous collaboration.

ALMANAC PROJECTS is a Philadelphia-based producing company creating, supporting, and touring original, genre-defying performance across circus, dance, and theater, grounded in over a decade of ensemble circus-theater practice. Our works have been presented at Jacob’s Pillow, New York Live Arts, FringeArts, and across four continents, and have received honors including Weekly Circus Awards at the Perth Fringe World and Adelaide Fringe, the Barrymore Awards, Suraya Award, the CircusNow ICE Award, and the APAP/CIPA Award for Excellence in Creative Producing. Current projects include I Think It Could Work, Helpful Hints for Strength and Health for Busy People, Dead Muse and Wild Horizon. Through commissioning, touring, residencies, and large-scale festival production, we build sustainable structures for artists to take real creative risks and for audiences to encounter work that is immediate, challenging, and alive.
