Scratch Night Submissions
CLATA AND PHYSICAL THEATER FESTIVAL PRESENT their second SCRATCH NIGHT together AS PART OF THE 7TH DESTINOS CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL LATINO THEATER FESTIVAL.
We are looking for Chicago Latine performers interested in showcasing works in progress focused on visual and physical theatre! Scratch Night Artist Submissions are open now!
This next edition will be held at the Den Theater on Monday, October 21st, 2023 from 8.30pm-10pm (1333 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago).
To submit please complete this Application Form. The submission deadline is SEPTEMBER 15th at midnight CST. All performers will be notified of their selection status by SEPTEMBER 18th.

Scratch Night is a curated showcase of works-in-progress by local physical theatre makers. You'll get to see six previews of original contemporary, visual, and physical theatre by different Chicago artists.
Submissions 2025 Festival
Submissions for Physical Theater Festival 2025 are open. Calling all International, National and Local contemporary, visual and physical theater artists and companies to apply.
Proposals should include:
- company bio
- touring history
- video of the full performance
- written description of the performance
- technical rider/touring needs

Producer's Circle
The Producer’s Board supports Physical Festival Chicago (PFC) in its mission to make Chicago a home for local, national and international physical theater. Members of the Producer’s Circle are tasked with raising funds through a “give or get” model to support the annual summer Festival. Producer's Circle members enjoy a close relationship with the Festival’s curators.
