Planning on attending multiple workshops? Consider purchasing a workshop pass.

Explore the art of non-verbal storytelling by using your body as the main instrument of communication.

This workshop will give you an overview of how to create and use physical theatre to convey a story. We will give you the foundational tools that the company has used for many years to create their award-winning work and will enable you to build upon them so that you can bring your own unique style to any piece of theatre you create.

Campbell is the Artistic Director of Strictly Arts Theatre Company. He trained as an actor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire before embarking on his professional journey through the arts. As well as acting in shows all around the world, he has developed his own style of theatre with the award-winning Strictly Arts; developing, directing and writing four shows with them to date.

Despite having his own theatre company, Campbell is always one to collaborate. He has been an Assistant Director with Tamasha Theatre and the Belgrade Theatre, and has worked on the adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s Naughts and Crosses with Pilot Theatre and Derby Theatre.

Throughout this time, Campbell has also created and facilitated many workshops designed to increase engagement with the arts. In particular, he has worked alongside several City Councils to steer young people away from knife crime and gang related activities.

He has quickly risen to become a Creative Associate at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, and has been appointed as an Honorary Member of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for services to the arts.
